Travel Diary: Zermatt, Switzerland + June Calendar

This month’s calendar is inspired by our trip to Zermatt, Switzerland.

We came to see the Matterhorn, and even if we just spent a couple of nights here, I was surprised we were able to do a lot of things!

We took the cable cars up to the snowy mountains.

And one afternoon, we went on a bike trail!

There are no cars in Zermatt. Aside from bikes, there are these tiny electric shuttles that take you to and from the station and hotels. We stayed at Alpenhotel Fleurs de Zermatt.

Wildflowers every where!:) I love that the hotel serves their own mixes of wildflower tea & homebaked snacks every afternoon.

There is also an awesome springwater pool & sauna at the basement!

Picked a few wildflowers to sketch.

And then used the drawings to create a pattern for this month’s calendar.
