Watercolor+Calligraphy at Makeshift Society SF

There is something quite liberating about drawing with a calligraphy pen. Your mind wanders off to places while your hand draws out each stroke. Slight imperfections are okay. There are no rules on when to apply pressure on the strokes, and when to release. Simple doodles are taken to a whole new level 😛
On December 9, I’ll be teaching Watercolor Calligraphy at a workshop in Makeshift Society SF, fusing two of my favourite techniques! We’ll be mixing our own colors, playing with washes, inking over them, and experimenting with masking fluid.
