Creative Career Mentorship with Alessa Lanot
If you are a creative freelancer, artist, designer, creative service provider, or small business owner, this mentorship program is an opportunity to re-align yourself to your chosen creative path, and learn in a one-on-one virtual setting. Each mentoring session will be catered to your own individual goals and curiosities—whether you are starting out, figuring out your business model, changing strategy, or looking to refresh your brand/service. I ask the questions to help you figure out what matters most to you, to help open up conversation on the concerns, uncertainties, and even blocks that you may be experiencing.
Here are some topics that we can cover at each session (in no particular order). Select what you feel you need right now. You may select one (1) topic per session:
○ Design your Dream Career
Setting goals, finding the perfect fit for your strengths, skills, interests, and resources, and developing a career plan
○ Define your Brand
Crafting your brand message/story, finding your niche, and connecting with your ideal target market
○ Pricing your Worth
Calculating the cost of your services, design licensing, creating packages & portfolio presentation, and learning how to negotiate with clients
○ Promotions & PR
Connecting with clients that will sustain your creative business, selling techniques, and mapping out your promotions & sales pipeline
○ Business Brainstorm
Shifting strategy and business goals, expanding your brand, curating your services, or developing products & collections
○ Design Licensing & Contracts
Understanding exclusive and non-exclusive licenses as a way of monetizing your artworks, and using these as pricing strategy. Incorporate the design license into your work agreement, and build a custom contract that suits your design process.
○ Portfolio Development
Crafting your artist bio, selecting works to showcase in your portfolio and resume, and finding the best platform for showcasing your work.
Each session is an online 60-minute call (via Zoom). Prior to the session, you will be asked to fill up a welcome form that will help me build an understanding of your current work, how you would like to grow, and what you’d like to learn/discuss. After the session, you will also receive downloadable worksheets or slides related to the topics discussed, and a summary of your mentoring session.

Schedule: Every Wednesday and Friday

NOTES:
Upon purchase, your may book your schedule via a link, which will be emailed to you.
You may book just one single session, and select the topic for discussion. There is no limit to booking the number of sessions, if you would like to discuss more areas of your creative business.
If you are working with a partner/group, you may invite them to the meeting. Booking is per session/per topic.
