Floral Sketching at IArtYou
I spent the past Saturday morning with art enthusiasts at National Bookstore's I Art You FineArts event. The atrium of Shangri-la Plaza mall was packed with talented artists doing live murals and eager minds ready to absorb all they could from a whole day of learning.
Did a live demo teaching basic floral sketching using Winsor & Newton Pigment Markers.
I started out with a bit of color theory.
Then I moved on to the floral sketching part, breaking down the flower parts into different petal angles.
Also showed how the white pigment marker can add white details on top of colored parts. Enjoy na enjoy si kuya cameraman sa live art :))
Also played with layering colors and blending them together using the blender brush.
Earlier in the morning, I did a piece of live art using Liquitex liquid markers.
