I designed two patterns for Wanderskye, a company than makes awesome travel accessories like these printed luggage covers. They don’t just protect your luggage, but they also make your bags easier to spot on the baggage carousel.
The first print is inspired by flowers in my grandmother’s garden. Growing up, I spent every Saturday in her house, playing with cousins. I particularly loved the wild blue phlox with the sticky calyx–my cousins and I would stick the flowers on our shirts and pretend we were a member of some sort of flower club. Haha! The peach-pink flowers are mussaenda rosa, which until today, I see a lot of in that neighborhood.
