Aside from the workshops at Makeshift Society, I was also invited to teach a Modern Calligraphy & Gold Leafing Workshop for the ladies of The Nomad Hotel and Eleven Madison Park. Had a fun afternoon chatting and sharing this craft with them.
They learned about the proper use of materials, and worked on their basic strokes and movement drills.
Then we experimented with gold leaf glue + the calligraphy pen, and then attached gold leaf to it. Love these messy flecks!
