My friends E & E are getting married in Batanes this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited for them! For their save the date, Em gave me a letter format, which inspired me to create a handwritten save-the-date. I wanted to make it feel more personal, and to show that it would really be an intimate wedding.
Over brunch of hazelnut hot chocolate and arugula on toast, we talked about relationships and marriage, and caught up with each other after a very long time.
And then as we were talking about the wedding preps, I started carving their doodled monogram, using my new woodpecker carving tool. It has a super tiny nib, and it took me forever (or at least until after my 3rd meeting for the day) to finish a 13 x 6 cm slab of eraser.
Will use these to print on Thank You cards, as a gift for the couple.
Happy Friday! 🙂
