Watercolored Wedding Invitations: Raffy & Ces

RaffyCes-01 Watercolored Wedding Invitations: Raffy & Ces
My friend Raffy and is fiancee Ces asked me to make their wedding invitations.
They brought back giant calligraphy brushes for me from Korea which I used the to paint these flowers.

I also handpainted the map and used my wobbly calligraphy to write the street names.

Again, I used 415gsm blotter paper to print these invites. The matte paper really makes it look like the design was painted directly on it.

For the envelopes, I created a monochromatic blush pattern of the flowers and printed envelope liners. I also did calligraphy on the envelopes.RaffyCes-04 Watercolored Wedding Invitations: Raffy & Ces
I really love how this invitation suite turned out, to the point that when I look at it, I sometimes wish that they were my own wedding invites. Haha 😛

Can’t wait to post about the rest of the beautiful details of this wedding!
