In 2011, PJ & I got married and had our dream wedding. We traveled to Hong Kong, Singapore, and all over the Visayas for over 2 months. I spent a month in the States for culinary class, and when I got back, we celebrated Pipino’s 1st birthday & my 29th birthday with a 5-course vegan dinner. I finally moved my work website to Cargo Collective, and I also went back to blogging, which is one of the best decisions (next to saying “I Do”) that I made this year. Thank you to the online world for welcoming this prodigal blogger back into your arms!
Unlike many who were eager to move on to 2012, the past few days saw me clinging on to whatever moments were left of what I think has been the best year of my life. I wasn’t ready to let go of 2011 just yet. Will 2012 be as kind to me? I can only pray and hope for the best.
2012 makes no promises, but I believe in the saying that if it can be imagined, then it can be done. True story: In my 2008 wishlist, together with a new pair of rollerblades, a new laptop and a trip abroad, I listed down TRUE LOVE. Haha, foolish? Guess what? It ALL came true! All I am trying to say is CLAIM IT and soon enough, you will own 2012.
Here’s a colorful printable calendar for the first month of the year. I use mine to list down something creative to do every day.
Thank you to my family, friends and blog readers for being a part of my 2011. My wish is to grow creatively with you in 2012. Happy New Year! 🙂
