We all have different timelines. Spending time in our garden has taught me that growth takes time, and it cannot be rushed. There's planting season, and there's harvest season. Trees bear fruit or flowers only on certain months of the year. Sometimes, they yield a bountiful harvest, other times, very little. We can't expect the same results every time. Over-productivity is not sustainable. "At Your Own Pace" is my 2023 calendar collection with @ifexph. I painted 12 flowers & leaves that are traditionally used as tea in the Philippines. It's a reminder for us to slow down and find calm. Because if we want to continue growing, bearing flowers & fruits, then we have to be gentle--with nature, and with ourselves. 🤍 Excited to show you the whole paper collection!🌿🌺 P.S. I took a risk, and decided to cut out all my watercolor illustrations to frame them together as a single piece!😁 #LABxIFEX #PatternLABph #watercolor #botanical

Unplugged in Guimaras for a few days. We stayed at @natureseyebeach resort, where you have the ocean for your open bathroom view; where all their furniture was built by hand; where there are only 5 cottages; and where there are lots of steps to get from one side of the resort to the other. Was lucky to be there as they launched their new plant-based menu!😁💚 Snuck in a few minutes of painting, but really just stared at the views most of the time 😆 #LAB_breaktime #guimaras #philippines
