Learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting as you make beautiful floral creations. Ideal for beginners and even those who have no experience with watercolor, you’ll get familiar with different paints, learn how to mix colors and experiment with various techniques in a fun, low-pressure environment. All materials are provided with your sign up including handmade artist watercolors (6 half pans), a ceramic watercolor palette made by Alessandra, brush rest, artist watercolor paper, fine watercolor brushes, a pencil, and eraser, as well as a workshop zine.
Alessandra Lanot is a surface pattern designer and craft instructor. For many years now, Alessa has been encouraging creativity by teaching watercolor and craft classes, with over 300 workshops in Manila and in other parts of the world to beginners and ‘non-artists’.
LifeAfterBreakfast.ph is Alessa’s blog where she chronicles her craft adventures that begin after the most important (and her favorite) meal of the day. Her blog has been featured on Buzzfeed’s 30 Instagram Accounts That’ll Add Beauty to Your Feed, and HOW Magazine’s Top 10 Websites for Designers. Alessa has been a brand ambassador for Canon Pixma and Sharpie PH. She has also collaborated with various brands, such as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and recently with Havaianas. Many of Alessa’s former students are now full-time letterer and watercolor artists creating custom work for clients, or for their own merchandise.
