Arches watercolor papers are manufactured in France using a cylinder mould machine in the same paper mill since 1942. With a focus on exceptional quality and tradition, each sheet is comprised of 100% rag and hand-inspected for consistency in surface, texture, and performance. Special felts give a handsome grain finish to the paper. This durable paper is sized twice, once in the beater and again after sheet formation. These 185gsm pages are ideal for watercolor, gouache, ink, acrylics, and drawing. Sheets are strong enough to handle multiple washes of color, masking fluid, scrubbing, and artist’s tape without damage to the surface.
